Privacy Policy

Short version

This is a personal portfolio site. It collects as little data as possible: no accounts, no tracking cookies, no advertising.

Analytics

This site runs its own built-in, cookieless analytics — no Google Analytics, no third-party trackers, nothing stored in your browser. It records only aggregate counts: pages and sections viewed (and how long each section stays on screen), the hour of the visit (UTC), the referrer domain, campaign tags you clicked (utm_*), the device type and screen-size bucket, the country (derived by the host from your connection — your IP itself is never stored), anonymized button, link, FAQ and video interactions, scroll-depth milestones, time spent on the page, bucketed load-performance numbers, and page error counts. A recent-visits list keeps only the last 50 visits for 24 hours (time, country, device, page, referrer — no IPs or identifiers). For unique counts, your IP is hashed with a rotating daily, weekly or monthly salt and never stored. All data stays in this site's own store and is never sold or shared.

Contact

If you email me, your message and address are used only to reply. Messages sent through the contact form are emailed to me directly (via Gmail) and a private copy is kept in a private dataset so I can reply and keep track. Nothing is sold or shared. Project demo videos and frames are served statically from this site; no data is sent anywhere else.

Where your data goes

As little as possible, to as few places as possible — and never sold or shared:

• Vercel hosts this site, so every visit passes through their network (they derive the country from your connection for the analytics above).
• Upstash stores the cookieless analytics counts — aggregates and salted hashes, never IPs or identities.
• Hugging Face holds a private dataset with contact-form copies and nightly analytics snapshots, and runs the AI backend that answers questions in the /stats copilot (what you ask it is processed there).
• Gmail delivers contact-form messages to my inbox.
• The Token Estimator demo in /lab fetches its live model list from models.dev directly from your browser.
